Who We Are – CTEE (Climate Technology Education and Entrepreneurship)
CTEE (Climate Technology Education and Entrepreneurship) is a forward-thinking organization focused on the research, development, and dissemination of low-tech, high-impact environmental solutions. These innovations address the urgent challenges of climate change through both mitigation and adaptation technologies.
CTEE empowers individuals and communities by offering hands-on training and business incubation opportunities in climate-resilient technologies. Its key developments include flood-response tools such as human and goods-carrying boats, the iconic Jul’s Ark, floating toilets with waste management systems, and water generators for freshwater production. Additional innovations include GSM 4G Network Boosters for remote connectivity, water filtration systems, and pet incineration plants.
By bridging the gap between climate science and grassroots innovation, CTEE helps vulnerable communities prepare for extreme weather events while fostering green entrepreneurship. Through its accessible technology education, CTEE enables individuals to build sustainable livelihoods while contributing to climate resilience and environmental conservation.
Our Mission
To empower individuals and communities to build climate resilience through practical education, innovation, and entrepreneurship in sustainable technologies.
Our Vision
A world where grassroots innovation and community-led action drive sustainable solutions for the planet’s most pressing climate challenges.
What We Do
Innovate Environmental Solutions
We design and develop tools that directly respond to the climate needs of Bangladesh’s most vulnerable regions, including:
- Jul’s Ark: Floating toilets with integrated waste management
- Flood-Resilient Boats: For people and goods in submerged areas
- Water Generators & Filters: Providing clean drinking water in crisis
- GSM 4G Network Boosters: Keeping remote communities connected
- Pet & Bio-Waste Incinerators: For safe, hygienic waste disposal
Educate Through Hands-On Training
We run community-centered training programs that teach people how to build, maintain, and scale our innovations. Our educational modules focus on:
- Basic engineering and design
- Sustainable materials and practices
- Climate adaptation strategies
- Business skills for climate-tech entrepreneurs
Incubate Green Enterprises
We don’t just teach skills, we help build businesses. Through our entrepreneurship incubation program, we support individuals and groups in launching micro-enterprises centered around climate technologies. We provide:
- Mentorship
- Micro-funding access
- Technical assistance
- Pilot project opportunities
Why It Matters
Bangladesh is on the frontline of the climate crisis. Rising sea levels, frequent floods, and extreme weather events displace millions each year. Conventional relief efforts often don’t reach those in need or are too expensive and complex to be sustainable.
CTEE’s model is different. Our technologies are:
- Low-cost and high-impact
- Built by and for the local community
- Sustainable, replicable, and inclusive
By focusing on climate justice, gender equity, and local empowerment, we’re not just solving problems, we’re unlocking potential.
Our Impact (So Far)
- 🛶 flood-response boats deployed across climate-vulnerable regions
- 🚽 floating toilet units installed in flood-prone slums
- 💧 Clean water solutions brought to people
- 👩🔧 Trained individuals in climate-tech skills, 60% of them women
- 🌍 Enabled climate-tech microenterprises in rural Bangladesh
Our Values
| Core Value | What It Means |

Meet the Movement Behind the Mission
Climtecheden is more than an organization, it’s a movement of educators, engineers, community leaders, volunteers, youth, and entrepreneurs working together to rethink how climate technology is designed, shared, and scaled.
Whether you’re a donor, brand partner, policy maker, or concerned citizen—you can join us in building a better, greener future.
Proudly Based in Bangladesh
We design, prototype, and produce all of our innovations locally. By working with Bangladeshi engineers, artisans, and communities, we ensure that our solutions are culturally appropriate, economically viable, and environmentally sustainable.
